Georgetown Church of the Nazarene has sponsored Bethlehem Village as part of the annual Georgetown Christmas Stroll since 2007. Being a woodworker with a sawmill, I was approached to build the stable and manger as well as many tables and stools for each of the shops. Naturally I volunteered to lead the Carpenter's Shop. It is a LOT of fun plus a great community outreach project. Each year more and more people come through and in 2015, we saw over 25,000 people visit us. It is held the first Saturday of December and the Friday night before. The following pictures show some of the Carpenters Shop activities as well as a few of the other shops and scenes.
